A design enthusiast, nature lover , explorer and an active mother of two, Devina Salarpuria founded the label , Studio Moda India, in the year 2018.
A graduate from National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chennai, Devina aims to bridge fashion consumption needs and social responsibility.
Designing being her first love while also being socially active, it was a natural progression towards her own venture to create unique garments for urban women, with a sense of responsibility towards the society.
PHILOSOPHY
With a commitment to sustainability, Studio Moda India uses only natural, luxurious fabrics and locally handcrafted, plastic-free embellishments. Rooted in India , The brand champions circular design, partnering with local artisans and utilizing resources regionally to boost the local economy. Studio Moda India urges the consumer to make responsible fashion choices, considering the impact of what you wear. Adding to their unique appeal, Studio Moda India develops its prints in-house with limited drops. Our ethos extends to social impact, with proceeds supporting NGOs and showcasing their skills.
VISION
To use the medium of Fashion as a platform to showcase different crafts, make it accessible and wearable , while simultaneously speaking about Fashion consumption and other ethical concerns with the fashion industry.
